An Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is a digital version of a patient’s paper chart. This course will cover GE Centricity EMR 9.5, 9.8, CPS 12, Athena Flow V23, and AthenaOne 📝 What will we be learning? You will learn 🔎 hands-on experience performing real-world 💼 EMR Analyst tasks, including: 🛠️ Admin tasks: User creation, password resets, adding CPT codes 📊 Reporting: SSRS maintenance, SQL queries, troubleshooting EMR issues 🏢 Support & Training: Training doctors & nurses on Athena EHR 🛡️ Security: Patient portal admin, managing HL7 segments, linklogic errors ⚙️ System Configurations: Creating appointment types, setting up providers 🔧 Interface & Integration: Working with Labdaq, Qvera, Mirth, OnBase, EPCS ✨ What makes this class different? There are no other EMR classes like this! Most people transition from nursing or IT. With this class, you get hands-on experience doing the actual tasks you would perform in an EMR job. 📚 Do I need healthcare experience? No prior experience required! This is NOT a billing and coding course. You will be learning how to support 👩‍🎓 doctors and nurses with their 📈 day-to-day EMR tasks. ⏳ How long is the class? 3.5 - 4 months Long 🎩 Where are classes held? Online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Previously in-person, but now fully remote! 🏞️ What if I live outside of Philadelphia? Classes are fully online! You can attend from anywhere in the U.S. 🏆 Will you help me land a job?
